As of now I have been disqualified by DODMERB for a couple of conditions and have been working on remedials. Probably won't be doing any ROTC or Service Academies. My question is this, if I receive a waiver for either the USAFA or AFROTC, can I use it if I want to attend OTS after college? I'm asking because on the disqualification letter it stated that it's possible for one program to clear me while not the other. Thanks.

JLimmy - Technically, the answer is no. The waiver would NOT be transferrable. Realistically, the answer would tend to be yes. While NOT required, it is more the exception than the rule when a waiver would NOT be granted in the same service. The AFROTC waiver authority is the same for AF OTS. Your best bet is to send me an email with your full name and last 4 of your SSN, so I can provide a more informed response. Larry.Mullen@dodmerb.tma.osd.mil:thumb:
