My DS has completed his eye exam an has physical next week. I read that you can check the status of your exams on the dodmets website but not sure where. Will it be posted under "step 5- go to medical exams?" Also how long does it typically take for results to be posted? Dr said it would be submitted by his office today so is it immediate?

You'll want to go to the dodmerb web site. I believe the dodmets website referred us there once all the data has been sent from dodmets to dodmerb. Below is what's stated as DS's status - may or may not be typical. And checking 12 times a day doesn't make it appear any faster...trust me.

JJ is correct on both fronts - you can check it on DoDMETS by logging in through the applicant login and clicking on "Application Status" on the left hand menu bar. When you see medical and opto exam received dates, Concorde has both and may have already sent it to DoDMERB.
Keep in mind it can take up to 10 business days for us to receive all paperwork. And, not everything we receive is in review condition, so we follow up on those items as well. The biggest thing you can do is to be patient and allow the process to work.
If it has been 2 weeks since your exams and you not see we have received paperwork, feel free to call us at 215-587-9600.
Checking the website will not make it go faster. And it will make you go crazy. Don't do that to yourself! We take pride in the work we do daily and are extremely dedicated in getting your necessary items processed. Relax, and enjoy your summer!

You may already know this, but you will want to check the DoDMERB site to check on the status after all the forms have been sent to DoDMERB from Concorde/DoDMETS.

DoDMERB is a completely separate system from DoDMETS and the first time you enter the system you will need to click on "New Applicant/Create an Account" which takes you to: https://dodmerb.tricare.osd.mil/ApplicationCheck.aspx
Enter candidate SSN and DOB. It should prompt you to create a new Username and login.
