DODMERB Status and What to bring to exam

Unfortunately my current DODMERB status in the portal is "No Action" ... it says to continue working on application and eventually they will upgrade the status to "Request Scheduling" but does anybody know what portions of the application they are looking to have submitted before doing this? I have done everything (on my end) except the personal statements and CFA scores. Everything else has been submitted and is pending approval or submission depending on what component of the application it is.

Also I have two medical conditions (scoliosis and a harmless heart condition) which I am fairly sure will deem me remedial if not disqualified. At this point I don't see a doctor for either of them and the only reason I ever did was so that they could monitor the conditions to make sure they didn't progress into an actual issue. I have no physical limitations. Should I bring letters from both of those doctors to my first appointment stating this or wait until after I am deemed remedial? If I am to bring a letter (which I really think I should do) what should I have the doctor include in the letter?

Thanks!!

Not sure, because I only submitted my CFA scores, transcripts, and SAT and I had the status of "Request Scheduling"

@Tristyn Maalouf - you are best to get those statements in and your CFA complete. There is not a template that holds 100% true because each candidate is handled individually; however, completing the statements is often the trigger that advances you to medical (assuming you are otherwise a strong candidate). For the waiver, you'll want the CFA done because having a complete file gives the RC the best perspective to evaluate if you are the/one of the top candidates in that district (and therefore make a waiver request relevant).

For the DoDMERB exam, there are forms the contracted doctors complete and send in. I'm not sure they have the ability to send in additional documentation. The doctors performing the exam are NOT evaluating the results against the services' requirements to make the Qualified/Disqualified determination. That is DoDMERB's role. If you want to provide additional documentation to them, there should be procedures on the website once you have your login.

@845something will do, I have one of the three statements complete but I won't be taking the CFA for another couple weeks so hopefully the statements will trigger it. And thanks for the additional information on DoDMERB!
