My DoDMERB page was recently updated, showing the US Army, which was added 10 JAN 2011. Does this mean I was awarded a scholarship? It just appeared a few days ago, so I'm hoping this means something. Many thanks to anyone with an answer!!

AFROTC appeared on my DoDMERB the day I received news from the AF about winning a scholarship.

I also applied to NROTC, which hasn't yet appeared on my DoDMERB page. Since the Army board just met, and the day the AF appeared on my page makes me hopeful.

ffarail, read thru the thread titled January 4, 2011 board - in the later pages there were some other hopefuls with recent AROTC changes...we are unsure if it means anything....AROTC has not followed all normal processes since the October board so sit tight, when the AROTC status pages start changing (on approximately 1/25/11) we will have a better idea what means something and what doesn't....

I posed this question a few days ago, because my DS had the same AROTC update on his DoDMERB status on January 10, 2011. I was informed by one of the regulars on this site that we should not to read too much into this. Apparently, there have been applicants who received DoDMERB updates while waiting for the October board results, but were ultimately NOT awarded an AROTC scholarship from that board.
