My son is applying to USMMA he checked allergies on dodmerb allergy question and was disqualified. Although he has has allergies younger he has played three sports all through high school, running cross country, swim team and lacrosse. His allergies have never limited him. Any suggestions in the waiver process??? Does USMMA grant wiavers on allergies.

I'm assuming that you mean upper respiratory allergies rather than food allergies. Our DD received a waiver for her allergies. But that was four years ago and procedures and policies do change. In our case, DD's admission's officer helped us through the process. She had us send her copies of everything we submitted and was able to help speed up the process a bit. I can't say enough about the helpfulness of the folks in the USMMA Admissions Office. Call them and get the answer from the folks who know best.
