Has anyone been contacted about this yet? I have everything but the essay on my app completed and thought I read somewhere that once you have 5 documents of the app completed they'll send something out.

My son has completed all of the elements of his app but hasn't heard from the DOD either. Nor for that matter has he heard from his BGO, despite some proactive outreach. He spoke to a very nice person in the admissions office who told him that he's a bit ahead of the curve, and that he should hear from the DOD in late-July or August.

I hope you're having as much fun with the essay as he did. Which is to say not at all ;-)

Haha actually just starting it today...something today on a hot day like today

DD completed her application in mid-June and her BGO interview almost two weeks ago. She has not received any information yet regarding DoDMERB.

Just a gentle reminder that it is summer and BGOs may be on vacation, involved with family activities, etc. Also, we just had the Class of 2016 removed from our systems so that we can more easily focus on 2017.

RELAX! There is PLENTY OF TIME for interviews and the like.

IF you have a severe time issue (i.e., you're going to be out of the country from now until Labor Day), let your BGO know. Otherwise, give it a few weeks before you start getting worried/upset.

I received the packet in the mail today. It says that it was authorized from USNA on July 10. My fifth form was submitted on June 29.

DS received his today in Texas and completed his BGO interview on Monday evening... :shake:

I took accutane and stopped over a year ago. From reading other threads on the forum, I see that I will need the medical records from this for a remedial. Can I bring these records to the appointment to expedite the process?

Went to my DoDMERB exams today. Finished both the optometric and medical exams.

When can I expect to see this confirmed on the CIS?

I got a receipt kind of thing that said no medical restrictions. There weren't any issues so I assumed I passed. They said they would fax everything to DoDMERB
