Im getting pretty confused looking around on google for the DODMERB, cant find where I am supposed to get one in my state ( AZ ). Also, when should I be taking it? Im a junior currently.
Thank you.

When you apply, it is an official part of the process. DoDMERB will list contracted physicians that administer it when you get to that part of the application (probably opens in mid-late summer). Usually you qualify for DoDMERB once you complete a certain percentage (around 50%) of your application. Patience :)

Nverge- The application for USMMA for the class of 2021 is not open yet. Continue to watch online at usmma.edu in the admissions section for the application to hit sometime after April 15th. If you need help with your application, you can reach out to one of the field information reps in your state near your home town. You can find those names and contact information on this link:
https://www.usmma.edu/sites/usmma.edu/files/docs/Local Admissions Field Reps_2.pdf
The field reps are very helpful and can answer your questions.
If you need assistance beyond the local field rep you can contact the admissions office per the academy website.

@Nverge As stated above, you will be notified by the Service Academy when they've requested DoDMERB to conduct the physical. This won't happen until you complete the majority of your application. If you're a junior, you're going to have to wait until the applications open. Part 1 is completed online, but last year parts 2 and 3 were downloaded and completed offline and mailed in. You should also apply to other service academies. As soon as you complete the required docs for a particular SA, then you'll be scheduled for a DoDMERB exam. So, if you complete USNA's app first, they'll schedule you. USMMA will then piggyback off that same physical (as will other service academies and ROTC). It's a long process with a lot of work required on your end. I look at it this way - if you aren't willing to do the work on the application, then you're probably not a fit for an SA. Have patience and Good luck!

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, but I'm wondering if there is a lower end weight limit? My son is 5'9" and 125 and he is worried that he is underweight. He's been using protein powder and lifting weights and is actually up from 110 pounds less than a year ago. He just took the CFA and got the following results:
pullups - 14
pushups - 57
situps - 72
shuttle run - 8.8 s
mile run - 6 min 19 sec
BB throw - 68"

DODMERB exam is an invited exam, it is not something you set up on your own.

USMA uses the navy weight standards. For a 69 inches tall male the minimum weight is 128 pounds. https://www.usna.edu/Admissions/_files/documents/MedicalAppendix1.pdf but it can go down to 119 pounds or 17.5% BMI as long as there is not any underlying physical or psychiatric condition causing the low weight. The SA are much more tolerant to underweight applicants than overweight applicants.

Fill you pocket with nickels for your DoDMERB exam and you will be good to go. ;)

Thanks that is very good to know! He's actually 5 foot 8.5 but thought it would be safer to round to 5'9".
