When I got my remedial letter for my asthma, I took it as a sign that USMA was at least interested in me to some degree else they wouldn't keep the process moving. On the other hand it could have nothing to do with it at all.So I got a letter from DoDMERB today for a remedial on my eyes. Does this mean that the service academies view me as a strong applicant? Bottom line is, no one knows who the SA's are going to accept - sometimes they don't even know. The best thing to do is just get yourself 3Q'ed ASAP so that you can be as competitive as possible. Good luck!
