Does a remedial say anything about your application?

So I got a letter from DoDMERB today for a remedial on my eyes. Does this mean that the service academies view me as a strong applicant? Since it's so late in the admissions process? In other words, they would accept me if it wasn't for my eyes?

When I got my remedial letter for my asthma, I took it as a sign that USMA was at least interested in me to some degree else they wouldn't keep the process moving. On the other hand it could have nothing to do with it at all.

Bottom line is, no one knows who the SA's are going to accept - sometimes they don't even know. The best thing to do is just get yourself 3Q'ed ASAP so that you can be as competitive as possible. Good luck!

Also, remember that offers will be coming until the first day for each SA - don't lose hope!
