It's not impossible to be offered a CGAS appointment while on the wait list, but those candidates are primarily being considered for direct appointments.

Thanks for the info. My son is on the wait list. We were wondering how a candidate found him or herself on the wait list or CGAS. I'm sure the CG folk on the boards have a system. Thanks again and good luck.
