Does it help to let the admissions office know CGAS would be acceptable?

Is there any benefit to letting the admissions office know that a candidate would be willing to accept the CGAS program if they did not qualify for regular admission? Would Lt. Herold be the best person to tell?

thanks in advance!

I'm not entirely sure that telling them will HELP your chances, per se, but being proactive is never a bad thing. However, Lt. Harold or may not have anything to do with it. I know the head of the CGAS Program personally, as he has come down to talk to the Scholars here at MMI, and it is NOT Lt. Harold but a civilian gentleman. You could probably call the Academy and ask to speak to the head of the program to get the facts. He is a very approachable person.
