I have an appointment to the USAFA for the class of 2014. I'm supposed to start on 24 Jun 10. I'm currently in South Korea. Will the AF pay for a one-way ticket from where I live now, to Colorado Springs in the 3rd week of June? In other words, does the AF pay my travel to the USAFA?

Yes. They will send you instructions on how to get your ticket using your travel orders, usually through SATO Travel.

In one of the mailings that you will get after you accept your appointment, there will be paperwork asking how you plan on travelling to the Academy. If you choose air travel, there is a space to list your closest home airport. Our son didn't have to make his own travel arrangements. The Academy made the flight reservation and sent him the information on his flight and the confirmation number about three weeks before I-Day.

They will cover your flight to the Academy for inprocessing day and for any summer programs. Any other flights (home for holidays) are on you.
