I was reading a list on the internet of common DoDMERB disqualifications, and it listed "abnormalities of the external ear" as one of the common disqualifications. When I was in the sixth grade, (I'll be entering the eleventh this fall) I was pushed into the wall during a PE class basketball game. The cartilage of my ear was completely severed, requiring thirty-eight stitches to be corrected. I have no problems with it today, but I was left with a nasty scar. Would this qualify as an "abnormality?"
