I have searched and cannot find the answer to this question. DS will be attending soccer camp in a few weeks. We are driving quite a distance and may have to bring our dog (short story: he is a biter, other DS was going to babysit, but now has to work out of town, can't leave in kennel). He would be wearing a muzzle, as he does whenever he is in public. Are dogs allowed at West Point? If so, what happens when you pass through security? Last time we were there we had to open the back hatch - if he is in a cage (not sure if it will fit with the luggage), will they want to see in there? If needed, I will leave DH outside the gates with the dog and drive DS up to the barracks and drop him off! Also, does anyone know of a cottage or cabin for a 3 night rental within an hour of West Point? I would prefer that to a hotel that accepts dogs. Thanks so much for helping with this strange problem!
