Wow. Truthfully didn't expect so many replies. Stopped checking this thread after a few days. Thank you all for your support and advice. Strangely enough, I'm still at the academy. My mind is still pretty much made up that I'll be separating. However, once I got back I decided it would be foolish to waste the next semester sitting at home waiting to go to another school next fall so I decided to get another (free) semester under my belt here. Again thank you all for your kindness and advice, especially MDDADD what a kind offer!
 
bigT70, good decision! you may find after all that at the end of this semester you may want to stay! If not im sure you'll be successful wherever you go!

You are definitely better off having a full year under your belt should you decide to change schools. And, who knows, when the flowers start to bloom, and Herndon becomes a reality, you may have a change of heart. :) But even if not, you will have given USNA a good vetting and probably will be more comfortable with your decision.
