Driving Record

I have a couple tickets on my driving record and my counselor requested me to write an essay. The prompt is "Why airlines check driving records in hiring processes". I am uncertain whether or not this is a informative prompt or opinionated. Has anyone experienced this before? I am trying to decide the best way to tackle this essay. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

It obviously requires research. I think it's his way of teaching you why you shouldn't get driving violations. DS had to do similar essays while in NROTC MO. Seems to be a common practice.
