I've received a full 4yr NROTC Marine option scholarship. As part of my course load, I did an independent study in AP European History, and took the AP test. However, I didn't really do a lot of work during the year, so my advisor for the class has offered me two options: write a 20 page research paper, or drop the class, as it doesn't matter much anyways.

I would drop the class, but I don't want to lose my scholarship! Any advice?

WRITE THE PAPER TONIGHT!

Your scholarship was awarded based on information you gave to the selection committee. They can revoke it if they want because your PAR has changed.
