Hello! I have a question about Duane Syndrome, which I have. I've been looking to join the army and I have been reading disqualifications and realized this would probably be one. I've looked for answers but it's not common, so help me if you can.
There are different types of Duane Syndrome. The type I have, Type 1, is where my left eye does not turn toward my ear. My right eye moves in all directions and my left eye can move in any other direction. I do not have double vision I have 20/20 vision, my peripheral vision is normal. Also, it can NOTTT get worse.
My question is would I be disqualified or would I be able to maybe get a waiver or best yet, would it not be a problem at all?
