EA selection percentage prediction

IF that info is correct and the board usually meets for about 4 days, then I would think the earliest EA's would be out would be the first week in April. Once again I hope this is just a rumor. Guess we will find out this up coming week!
 
I don't know. My commander sent out an email yesterday saying "As of Monday we did not have an EA release date. Air Staff had not even provided their demand signal for EAs to be calculated." So I don't think the commanders know much more than we do. He also said not to read into this - anything could happen. I guess we'll just wait and see.
 
Personally I think that March Madness has absolutely nothing to do with basketball and everything to do with AFROTC EA's...

I also think that they need to change St Patricks day.. All that green beer on March 17 is apparently the cause for conflicting priorities!!!!

If they could use a volunteer to help get these things organized me and flyer can go give them a hand....I don't drink green beer!!!
 
Well my commander said that at the earliest we will know the results on March 22nd but her intentions to tell us on LLAB makes me feel that she knows it won't be tomorrow. When I asked her about the board early last week she stated that the board hasn't met as AFPC hasn't made the number of officer accessions they wanted in FY 2016 and the recent calls for downsizing hasn't made the estimation any easier. Hopefully it has been solved but it looks like some of y'all reports are not positive signs of progress. We'll see what happens tomorrow.
 
I predict that if they come in three weeks late like last year..that I might start drinking green beer!
 
The earliest the cadre could know the results may be tomorrow, but I highly doubt any det would personally release the results until next week anyways. Idk if it's done this way at every detachment, but for us Tuesday and Thursday are LLAB days so I'd expect the boards to start lighting up with solid updates next Tuesday at the earliest. Last year's EA results were released on a Wednesday, our det decided to tell FTP on a regular LLAB day and held on to the info for a full day (and so did many other dets judging by old threads). So it would make sense that IF they get the results this weekend, they'll wait until Tuesday to either tell us who got EAs OR tell us the board results have officially been delayed. In either case, they will tell us something by Tuesday.

I'd take every rumor about when they're actually coming out with a grain of salt until then. So far I've heard multiple people saying their cadre have assured them up until this week that everything is on schedule and only one source that says it will be delayed. Some say they don't have a budget yet and others say they figured out the budget a while ago. But most say their cadre know as much as we do which is nothing. I hope they let us know next week but who knows. Really they shouldn't even throw out dates like March 22 unless they will absolutely be able to make it. It only intensifies the anxiety when you think you're close to getting an answer and that's all you can think about the week before. It's going to suck if we find out next week that the wait has only just begun :cool:.

In an effort to keep on the topic of EA predictions. I'll put in a couple of virtual bucks on a 74% selection rate, just to give a more optimistic prediction than FlyingWildcat's 73% :wink: . Hopefully I'll edge him out for the winner's pot which'll probably have accumulated quite a bit of cash and a signed copy of EARU's new AFROTC themed Christmas album by then :shake: .
 
Pretty much ^ you said it all. Cadre at my det has told FTP results will be delayed. Anything can happen but this is what was announced.

I'd say a high 70 is a safe assumption.
 
Our Det was told the same. The rack and stack is done, just waiting to know where to draw the line.

It's interesting to me that it takes so long, what is the difference in a week when trying to guess the atmosphere for two years ahead.

I'm interested in Pima's guess. And what exactly a banner year is.

I'm gonna skip the beer and go straight for the jagermeister...doesn't it come in a green bottle?
 
Not a drinker, yet! So any size will work for me. Hopefully the powers to be will surprise us and give the results next week so we can keep our sobriety, lol.
