EA selection rate and the 5 year plan

Looking for feedback from current 200/250 Engineering/Tech Cadets that are on the 4 1/2 - 5 year plan in regards to EA selection.

Curious to see how the selection rate was for cadets that will not be graduating/commissioning in 2016 due to being on 4 1/2 - 5 yr. plan compared with those cadets on track to graduate/commission in June 2016.

My son is a 5 year programmer. I think he's actually the only one. I wondered the same thing - if the USAF would defer ousting the 5 year types who barely missed cut-off and offering them 250 slots.

I know 2 4.5-5 year tech major cadets didn't get an EA. 3.0 GPA, 95+ pfa.

In the past at our DET they've made them repeat just 2nd semester and apply for an EA .
