Early Action and Government Shutdown

Because of the government shutdown, the Air Force Academy said that instead of having the DoDMERB exam finished by Nov 1st, you only have to have it scheduled. Well the day I was going to schedule it was the day of the shutdown and with the way it's looking now, I don't think the governments going to be back up and running by Nov 1. Should I talk to my counselor. Will the Academy extend the deadline until the governments back up?

Concorde is in fact doing physicals again. DS had his scheduled for the 3rd of October. Naturally that was canceled, however the doctor was kind enough to make short notice appointments and even came in on a Saturday(she usually doesn't work this day) to help candidates in our area. It worked to our advantage as DS didn't have to miss any class to accomplish his physical.
