Deferred to RA

Hi all. DS received letter today that he is deferred to RA...a bit disappointed but so happy it wasn't a "no"!
Anyone else get their letters today??

Received same letter here--still excited for the opportunity and where it will lead us.

A much smaller number of appointments have been awarded under EA2 than EA1, leaving plenty for RA.

Keep the faith, a deferral is not a "no" just a "not yet."

DS was deferred. Was wondering if he should try to get an interview with a Coast Guard rep here in Hawaii? Are there any?
