Hi, I am currently in AFRTOC in Wyoming. When i was around the age of 10, i had a very mild eczema case on my legs. It was treated, and it has not come back since. Will I get disqualified from being able to join the Air Force even if I do not have it anymore?I have been a very healthy individual, and I have not had any other health issues. I am a good cadet, ranking as the third in my class.

No two cases are the same so you will have to go through the process to find out. That said my son had mild eczema as a toddler and he noted it on his DoDMeRB questionaire and he did get a remedial request. He supplied all medical records associated with that along with a statement that it had not reoccured. He was fully qualified a week or so later.

I heard of one guy in my detachment who got DQ'd at DoDMERB for having Eczema. It was mild-severe and was on his face or neck area. I didn't see him firsthand bc he was DQ'd the semester before I joined.
You should be fine? Just giving a story.
