Electric Dirt Bikes for Recon Marines

I wonder how they will recharge the batteries in the hostile Area of Operations and how the batteries will hold up in the Pacific theater. But cool concept anyway!
... manual generator. You crank it with your hands or your feet. I'm ok with it... except when jumping because your boots get stuck in the dirt about 3 inches deep after executing a PLF, parachute landing fall.

Huge solar panels. Recon usually works at night so they have lots of space to spread out giant reflective panels in the middle of the day.

Actually they'll be used in conjunction with other vehicles so battery swaps or charging comes from there, but still not as cool as the high revs of an actual motorbike. Silent whooshing is probably more effective, but there is some awe that powerful noise brings. I think they should put a switch on these to pound out a Harley soundtrack when necessary.

I can see where having a pretty quiet and quick delivery vehicle could be very effective in recon. A special tool for a bunch of different possibilities.

... another option is to bring several toddlers in a patrol and feed them pancakes 🥞 with maple syrup then harness the energy for 3-5 🚲 bikes. The big question is who is brave enough to face the screaming moms after the patrol.

oh, this is the best news I've heard in a while. I love that we continually have to find new ways to keep the Marines entertained. I'll bet they'll be having bets on who stays upright the longest while taking the most dangerous route at full speed 🤣🤣
