I have emailed my admissions counselor twice over the past month asking for an update to be made to my activities record (I noticed a few errors I had made previously). However, I haven't received an email in response saying the changes have been made. Is this something I should be worried about? Or are they just too busy to respond to everyone?

Best bet is to call and get a living, breathing person on the other end.

It's easy to be lost in the pile of emails they receive daily.

My DS has sent in several updates but always has been asked to fax the updates over in a letter form which is signed and verified by his counselor/ coach. His admissions counselor explained that any updates which would be added had to be verified or they would not be included. After the fax was received my DS received a verification email that is was added to his file.

crair70 is exactly right, that is a new policy.
Also, when you submit an addendum, you might want to ask to confirm receipt of your email, thus you know it was received.
