If a club team coach writes you an endorsement, and sends it directly to the dean of admissions explaining how your involvement and participation would certainly lead to their team being one of the best in the nation and describing a list of national and international accomplishments, does that hold a lot of weight with the admissions office/dean of admissions? Will it help at all??? I can't be recruited because it's not an NCAA sport. pooo

Sorry if this sounds cocky, i by no means intend to "toot my own horn" i was just letting you know what was enclosed in the endorsement.

So my question is, will this help me? if yes, how much?

It will not hold the weight of an inter-collegiate sport, however, it can't hurt. How much will it help?....hard to say. The club team coach may also have other info (leadership, perseverance, etc) which could also help.

Just a quick side note, it IS an intercollegiate sport, they compete in a national wide conference system just like the NCAA. They host races and travel to other schools for races just like any other sports team. Really the only difference is that they cannot "recruit" people, and they're not technically an NCAA sport, although that is in the workings.
