English Teacher Reccomendation

My English teacher found out she has some chronic disease- I forget what the name of it is- but she is in a lot of pain and is currently receiving treatment in Massachusetts.

So my question is, who can I have write my reccomendation? This is my junior year and I need an English teacher to write me one.

I would contact your Regional Director. This isn't the first time a situation like this has arisen and he/she can best advise you what USNA will take as a substitute. It's much better to get the right answer from them than to guess. Also, what someone else said they did last year or ten years ago under somewhat similar situations is nice but doesn't really answer your specific question for this year.

I'm in the same boat as well. My math teacher passed yesterday due to anuerysm . I have no clue what to do. He was like a second father to me.

Do you happen to know who the regional director is for the State of Maine?
