Hello All,

I have only been in my training pipeline for 6 months now. Will this hinder my chances of being selected if I have good recommendations from the fleet?

None of us know. The key is securing a CO's endorsement. Is your CO willing to endorse you? Are there any additional time on station or other requirements that must be met first? Each application is reviewed for its own merits with regard to potential to commission, leadership, grades (high school and any college you have taken), SATs/ACTs, your evals, awards, etc. Obviously with 6 months in a training pipeline your Navy history isn't too lengthy yet to develop those key relationships within your Division that lead to endorsements, awards, etc. There is a Chief within admissions for enlisted applications. He can assist you and answer your questions.

NavyHoops,
I'm recently just finished my application for class of 2020. I have a lot of questions and wanted to get in contact with this particular said chief, howverver I've emailed him few times and haven't gotten any reply, is there someone else I can get in contact with before it's too late. The deadline is fast approaching.

Pick up the phone and call him. He probably took leave over the holidays. If you can't get ahold of him try another person in admissions, but I am sure they will just send you over to him! Good luck!
