Special Note: USAFA Admissions is changing this process to address email communication problems. Rather than entering email addresses for your teachers, USAFA will require you to supply the teachers' names. You will then be able to print invitation letters (directly from this website) and will take these letters to your teachers.
If you have already submitted your evaluator email addresses, you WILL NOT need to do anything else. The emails sent will still work to reach the evaluation page.

This button will be enabled no later than close of business on Friday, October 7, 2011. Please check back then.




I was wondering if anybody else received this on their online application for USAFA. I just logged on literally a minute ago and saw this next to the Evaluator Selection Form. However, I'm not too sure if this applies to me because all of my evaluator forms have been turned in. However, in my case, my english and science (other) teacher have sent in their online application as my math teacher has sent a fax. I'm not sure if this affects the application process or not. Does anybody know if this edit applies to me?

I would say that you should not worry about this. My DS application is complete and his application page says the same thing. I am sure if your teachers evals have all reached the Academy then you a good to go. We had to fax in the "other" teacher evaluation due to some confusion. So, we were in the same position as you in that regard.

My son had the same, but his app still reads "complete" so we're not too concerned...

For a while after my teacher completed the form, I was waiting for the status to change but now that I know, i feel a lot better!
 
Does the portal update as each evaluation is submitted (by the instructor), or does it only update when ALL evals are submitted? How do you find out which evals are in and which are not?
 
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but if I remember correctly you could change the evaluators name/info as long as the evaluation had not been completed. Once an evaluation is completed they lock the ability to do so.

So to answer your question, your portal should update as each evaluation is completed and you should be able to see who has and who has not completed the evaluation.

DD just looked on the portal and reopened the evaluation portal and it says that she opened it 7/19/2015 and that the chosen evaluator has not started their process yet. So I wonder if this again is something USAFA will update or if it updates as the evaluator opens and fills out the form....?

No. This thread is from 2011, so when it was posted it was accurate.
