Falcon scholarship

What are the financial commitments if you are selected to attend one of the prep schools other than transportation expenses.

It depends on the institution and additional scholarships that you may have. The paperwork you receive from the Falcon foundation will break down the costs for each school. This cost is not counting additional scholarships you might have only the Falcon scholarship and additional scholarships the school might throw in. Some schools would have no cost if you had an AFROTC scholarship, but that does not apply to them all. I can only speak for MMI where that is the case.

The Falcon Scholarship is $5000. If I remember correctly, most of the schools give at least $1000 in addition to that. I think only MMI offers AFROTC. If you chose to not go to the Academy the following year, you will have to repay the $5000.
