February ACT

I just received my December ACT test scores today: I currently have a 28 in Math and a 31 in Reading.

My question is, if I take the ACT scheduled for Febuary 9, will West Point receive my scores in time for them to be reviewed for my admissions decision? I have heard that most offers of admission will be made around the end of February, so is it worth it to take the ACT again?

I tried the SAT three times and could not raise my scores considerably, and I did much better on the ACT... So I have shifted my focus to the ACT and would prefer to stick with the ACT.

Oh okay, I would ask your FFR or RC to be sure, but I think it would be okay. Cutting it super close, best of luck! I couldn't tell you with 100% certainty. Or call admissions.

Thanks for the help! My ACT Reading score of 31 is above average but my Math score is one point below average according to the Class of 2016 profile. I am happy with my scores considering where I started out, but I would like to increase my Math score just a little more.

I will email my FFR to ask but I will probably still take the February ACT because increased ACT scores could definitely help me if I am put on the National Waiting List.

Again, thanks for the help! Best of luck to you!

Last year, the Feb ACT was accepted, but as suggested, I would double check with your RC.

idk, we received some generic letter (minus being addressed correctly) about being qualified but without rolling admissions, the NWL is where we stand. It then talks as if most appointments will be granted by end of Feb for most candidates and as late as May for the rest. I say to they'll consider whatever is on file until at least March, maybe April.

All files must be completed by 28 FEB. Nothing can be added to a candidate's file after that date.

unfortunately, it is that date. If it was up to me, all of you would have more time. Only exceptions are made via RC and I believe waiver submissions.

Good luck to all of you.
