I believe I read somewhere that there were already fewer offers of appointment than usual so how will this all play out?
I think it was something like 1437 offers of appointment for 1200 slots.
Will everyone who accepted the offer of appointment still be slotted?
I can understand if they are disqualified for some compelling reason, e.g. behavior, academic failure etc? But as of today, most appointees have already locked in their schedules.
I was wondering if any of the BGOs could provide some guidance...
