Field Inspection?

I am planning a trip to KP to visit possibly in May (DS not coming home for spring break). I would like to purchase my tickets soon. I selected a weekend in May but now notice the Reg. Calendar has a Field Inspection scheduled for that Saturday. What is it? Should I try for another weekend? I realize liberty can be revoked at anytime and no weekend can guarantee our 4/c ( hopefully by that time) will be able to leave campus to go into the city or stay with us overnight. So any thoughts here? Thanks in advance as always and if M/n are reading this.......GO STUDY!

DS can always put a Special Lib form or long weekend form in.

A Field Day Inspection is basically just a regimental wide cleaning party. To tell you the truth most if the time they are canceled and i have never heard of a long weekend being denied because of one.
