File Completeness

I have completed all aspects of my file except for my candidate statements and one reccomendation, and I have written them and am working on revisions. I am planning to have them finished by the end of the week. Is it hurting me that I have not completed my file at this point? Some people in my squad at SLS have already received LOAs...

No, it's not hurting you. It is only September. Do a good job and make your application look the best you possibly can. Don't worry about an LOA - not everyone who goes to SLS receives one.
