Hi I just finished everything on my application and I was wondering about how long after you completed your application did some of you guys get LOA letters, Letters for NAPS and the triple qualified letter? Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions.

I think it's hard for people to tell you because completing your application in August (when they may have 100 to look at) is completely different than in January (when they have thousands). Admissions has to be completely overwhelmed at this point, plus since most MOC noms are in, as grtkidmom said, they'd be more likely to compare the entire slate and look for who to give the appointment to, rather than LOA's now. However, if they're waiting on others on the slate to finish the application (some people on your slate have probably been waiting for a month or so on you! ), they can't do much until that point. So it could be next week, or, more likely, sometime in late March.

LOAs are almost completely done by now, if not already. They do not send any after January 31, and the first were sent in September. I completed my app in August, and got my LOA in November. Appointment in December.

Not true, my son finished his application late and received his LOA Feb 24, followed by the Offer of Appointment a week later.

Just wondering, what was on your son's resume that made him stand out so much?

Let's just say he's on the Supe's list for the first semester (order of merit for academics #1). Accademics is easy for him, he's athletic, has good ECs.
His stumbling block was the nomination, he's very mellow and understated, and so his desire to go to USNA didn't quite come across. Suddenly he got the call in January that he received a nomination after all (he had previously received a rejection letter) and that's why he was late finishing his application.
