    BB throw - 48 ft.
    Pull ups - 13
    Shuttle run - 8.1 sec.
    Sit ups- 73
    Push ups - 75
    Mile - 6:04

From what I can see, I definitely have to improve on my BB throw. Will be practicing on it. I heard from someone that it was mostly strength but even some technique thrown into it. So hopefully that means it's easy to increase the scores...just have to use the right technique.

Throwing with the left hand rather than the right...that is pretty interesting.

Alright, so not surprisingly, Admissions is making me retake the CFA to improve my BB throw. I will have to retake it during my time at Virginia Tech.

Work your ab/core strength. Do high-to-low and low-to-high woodchoppers (google it) and do some resistance band work with your throwing arm.

Ah, thank you sir. I do have resistance bands, so I will definitely be working on that.

Just out of curiosity -- what is the BBall throw designed to test? I ask b/c this test isn't important to USNA but obviously is to USMA.

You might need to throw a live grenade some day.

It is a coordination and athleticism test. It's shocking how many folks think they are "athletic" because they can run fast or do pushups, but lack the simply ability to throw a ball, climb a rope, etc.

It's a compound movement that marries together physical strength and the ability to perform a technique-driven task.
