And I thought the mail was exciting enough.

Would this round be LOA recipients primarily? Or obvious district winners? Or?
 
Any word as far as soldier applicants?

hooah21, I am a soldier applicant and I just received a phone call from my Congressman about receiving an appointment. He said the BFE should arrive within the next week. I am not sure if the appointment was through my Commander's endorsement or through my Congressman, but either way is fine with me. Hope that answers some of your questions.

I just received my appointment as well, but it was through my Congressman.

Is there any way to get a heads up about this? Would your Congressman reach out and contact you if an appointment was headed your way or would it be better for me to call their office, or is there an altogether different approach that would allow me to check my status?
