Flag Over The Capitol For I Day?

Is there a ceremony where our MOC will have a flag flown over the capitol on I day, a co-worker asked me about it today and I have not heard of a commemorative flag being available to us.

I did not see a reference to this during a search of the forum.

Contact your congressman. Ours has a place to call/write to have flag flown over capitol for a special event. I would call directly. If given enough time, you can get it on a designated day. You will send in check, Flag will then be mailed to you. Ours also includes a certificate explaining why the flag was flown with MOC signature and date.

We did this for DS's Eagle Scout ceremony.

I have requested (purchased) one from our Congressman, but our Senators also had this service available. I was able to take care of the request at the Congressman's website.
