food allergy waiver

Hi! DS needs a waiver for food allergies. He has LOA and the nomination. Anyone have experience with getting a waiver for food allergies? His allergist is writing a summary as directed by DODMERB, but just curious if anyone has gone through this process. Thanks for any insight!

Not with USMMA, but "yes" with USAFA, USMA and AROTC. Which food?
