I was wondering if any one else had taken the placement tests. I saw that it said we must take it before inprocessing if we had taken foreign language in high school, however I was hoping I wouldn't need to take it. For one, I took Spanish two years ago and don't remember very much. Second of all, I do not want to take Spanish at the Academy and was hoping to take French or German so do I still need to complete this test?

i took spanish a longgg time ago... i took the spanish test... pretty much put estoy or ser for every answer lol...

hahaha. I just remembered that I had to take that test today. It took about 30 minutes. I've taken 5 years of Spanish, but I don't feel like it got me very far.

I took the German placement test and I've taken German for 4 years in High School. It took me the recommended 'hour' to complete all parts.

i took the spanish placement test and even though we speak spanish sometimes at home i havent had a formal class in a while and i am not the best at grammar in english, let alone spanish so i had some trouble
i hope i dont have to start in a lower class or in a class other than spanish

I took the Spanish placement also, It took me about a month to finish the test lol. At first I put off an hour and had to pause it, then forgot about it, then did some more, then forgot about it till a couple of weeks ago when I finally finished it. I thought it was very very easy.

I took the Spanish test as I'd been an exchange student in Spain...simple...whacked that course and requested Russian as my language...they said: "No, take more Spanish!!"

Silly....

A famous man once said: "...learn the language of thine enemy to understand him..."

That was 1979...so I studied Russian.

LOTS of fun actually!
