Friday appointments

This may have already been discussed, but is the TWE, an actual TWE or is it also portal bound?
 
Yeah, if you get that email saying "You have a new message from USAFA Admissions", it is probably one of two things: you have been ACCEPTED, or you have been REJECTED, and there is no way to find out which until you log in and check your portal. Exciting, isn't it? Good times! :D :cool:

(Although, if you get an email tomorrow, I'd say its likely to be a :thumb: because MANY appointments are released right about now.)

Hang on everyone! It's rough, I know, but someday we will all look back on this moment and wish it would come again!


(Just realized this is my 100th message. I really need to get off these forums...really. Imagine how many times I could have checked my portal during the time I've spent on SAF!)
 
I just hope people start finding out soon even if it's not me yet. These past couple weeks have been tense as there's been no news. The great thing is in a month almost everyone should know either way(hopefully all good:))! The good thing is it will all over relatively soon so that's one less thing to worry about for us all.
 
I think after 2 years of the thrill ride I've had a mini epiphany regarding the main question that all of the candidates and their families have asked themselves,"What the #%+! exactly are the SA's looking for in a candidate during this grueling process."
Before I reveal my theory I want to ask all of you a question.

Are you or your DS or DD the type of person who hates to lose or the type of person that loves to win?

This should give everyone something to ponder while we wait and provide me with more data to prove my theory.

To answer your question, I love to win. Losing, I can stand, as I see failure as a stepping stone to success. But winning is still great!
I am interested to hear your theory! ;)

I have it on good authority that they don't. You can, however, ask your ALO and they will most likely tell you. I have also heard that your scores will be in brackets or something like that on the portal if they are considered low.
 
To answer the above question, I hate to lose more than I love to win. I'm a very competitive person. If my buddy does 100 push-ups and I would normally slow down at 80, you'd better believe I will do 101.
