I am currently at a ROTC program and am trying to commission. About ten (10) years ago, I was placed on medication for ADD, and I had a doctor that "thought I might be bipolar". The medication for the ADD helped, but the medication for bipolar was ineffective. We later found that I never had bipolar disorder. For the past year, I have been off all medication, with no issue. In addition, I was classified with a "Academic Skills Defect". I was denied a waiver. Is there any way around this?
