at the academy do you do pranks on other cadets? and like Ive seen videos of them slip-in-slidin in the dorm hallway.....and a bunch of other stuff :yllol: its really funny but i'm wondering do they actually do this and get away with it? i'm planning on attending anyways either way i was just curious on if they are actually aloud to do this and what they do. also what are the traditions? and what can you do off campus and on campus for recreation/entertainment?

At USNA STEM, we all enjoyed sliding down the hallways. The mids there confessed to enjoying that same pleasure.

I think the AFA Cadet vid of reacting K$sha's Tik Tok was one of the funnest things ever.

I know that during Army/Air Force week Mids took there racks and slid them down greased up P-ways (amongst other things) and that exchange Cadets were certainly on the receiving end of pranks. They also sneak out and go on "Spirit Missions".

Spirit missions. Nuff said.

Some things are approved. Some not.

Army and Navy weeks are good times to see pranks on the visiting mids and cadets to USAFA. 40 days is the highlight, where each squad's frosh do a spirit mission on their squad's day. So 34 days till recognition, you will see a spirit mission done by Squad 34.

And those slip and slides are called carrier landings. There are also hall brawls, first shirt first snow, and other stuff.
