I think however the ADSO/AD deal kick's in when the cadet would have to ADSO to get that branch cause they are below the AD line.

However if a cadet does make the active duty cutoff, but have the special degree they will get the branch if they make it number their 1 choice. There not charged an ADSO though unlike the cadets who dont make AD on there own.

The ADSO would likely kick in above what becomes the AD cutoff line based on slide 9. 40th to 55th fill of the branch would be from ADSO.

-----Branch sequentially Cadets by first preference up to 40% of a branch allocation without a Branch Active Duty Service Obligation (BRADSO).

----Branch sequentially Cadets by first preference up to 55% of a branch allocation with (BRADSO). Cadet may opt out of second and third branch considerations.

If Cadet executes a Branch for ADSO contract for 1st two branch preferences and receives one of those branches as their Basic branch the Cadet will be charged the ADSO (Not including Top 10%).

This seems like it might result in a larger number of 2014 cadets charged Branch ADSO than previous years.
