What is the toughest/most competetive areas in GA to get a nomination and how does it work when you get outside of the Atlanta Metro Area? Any information would be helpful--
 
I'm from the 5th district. I'll be applying for a nomination for USAFA and USNA for the class of 2015. There was a list a few months ago that shows 2-3 underrepresented districts in GA. 5th district was one, and I want to say 13th was another. I'll try to find the list. 6th district is one of the most competitive,covering most of atlanta. As far as outside of metro, I'd imagine 12th is pretty competitive since it covers Augusta which is pretty heavy on military with a few bases out there.
 
I would say 8th is the toughest just becasue it has Robins AFB, so a lot of military kids apply from there, It also has Moody AFB too I believe
