Has anyone done GAFB (German Armed Proficiency Badge)? Its an opportunity one of my cadre brought up with me from AROTC. If so, could you reference me the link of the competitions, I do have one from wikipedia... but thats not always the most reliable. If I have the chance, I may do it in the upcoming spring and would like to know the scores I'm up against in regards to getting a gold/silver/bronze medal. Thanks!

I know a few guys who have done it and they said it was pretty intense. They have lowered the ruck march distance recently, but the track and field events are still pretty strenuous. The event is going to be held soon at the base I live by and I think I am going to try and go for it. Off the top of my head I link on wikipedia looks about correct to me but I can try to dig up the email my PMS sent me regarding the individual events.

Found the document but it only has the gold/silver/bronze standards for the M9 and ruck events. It only has the bronze requirements for everything else.

Yeah, I was wondering about the other track and field events. The ruck, to me, sounds like ranger challenge all over again
I was wondering about the track and field events so I could train for them. I know the people from our company for the last few years who have gone have all gotten a gold.
