I saw where the gardasil vaccine to protect against the human papilloma virus now being offered to boys as well as girls. Does anyone know if this vaccine is being offered to male cadets either at the academy or through tricare?

I know I personally have prescribed it for a handful of active duty males at my base; however, I do not know the policy at the Academies at this time. I would assume they are following the same and therefore just need to get a prescription from their primary care doc.

It may take a few days, but I'll find out and get back to you for all the Academies:thumb:

USAFA, USNA, USMMA, and West Point = Gardasil is available for both males and females. USCGA had not gotten back to me yet, but presumable the same policy is in place there also:thumb:
