    DS received nomination today from Congressman Phil Gingrey 11th District of Georgia.

    Congratulations and all the best moving forward. Glad to see some Congressmen have finished their slate of nominees; my son's interview isn't until Dec. 13th. Hopefully he'll hear something form one of the Senators before then.

    The more the merrier?

    Curious...the more nominations a candidate gets, does this improve their chance of being appointed? I understand the way the slate works (provides more opportunities to appoint) but what I'm really wondering is, does it give the admissions board a further glance into who the candidate really is? If she can get multiple sources, perhaps there is really something to this girl?!?

    I was told more nominations are a very good sign.
    It depends on how the state leadership coordinates their nominations.

    @93Sir - Having more NOMS gives the Admission boards flexibility in how the slot all the pieces.
