GI Bill After SAs?

    Are you allowed to use the GI bill to pay for college even if you attended one of the service academies? :confused:

    Yes, but the years that are a part of your service academy commitment do count. You have to serve 3 years beyond those that are a part of your commitment. For example; if you select SWO and have a 5 year commitment, you would need to serve 8 years to be eligible to receive the GI Bill. If you select pilot, commitments are done differently and are based upon when you are winged and what platform you fly.
