Hello, I am a senior mid right now with a question. Does anyone know about active duty service via Naval Reserve qualify for the Post 9/11 GI bill? My other question is would the 5 year active duty service post graduation count as well? Thank you again!:thumb:

Have you read the Post 9/11 GI Bill?

It's take 2 minutes of Googling to find that answer. I'm going to do you a favor and let you find that information yourself.

I deleted the duplicate posts of this thread in the other forums. It is only necessary to post a question once to get answers.

I did look it up online before I posted. USMMA has a special status and I was looking if anyone had information about that status. I was inquiring whether or not anyone would know from this board. Thank you again.

To make things a little less straightforward to KPers, the bill was modified a few years ago.

I have my suspicions, based on what I've read (after I googled), but the best thing to do would be to call the VA and ask. The GI Bill is great. The communications AROUND the GI Bill? Not so much.

On the VA's website it's hard to dig. Googling helped me find other documents that are apparently SOMEWHERE on the site.... just not sure where.

Give them a call. It's a good idea to get an idea how the VA works and how responsive/nonresponsive it can be.
