Some good places around here to consider buying gift cards for:
1. PB & Jellies Deli--delivers on base
2. Subway, Wingzone, and Starbucks--all on base (in Arnold Hall)
3. Buffalo Wild Wings, Olive Garden (a bit on the nicer side), and Cracker Barrel (these three are easily within driving range if you can borrow a car)
There is a good make-your-own stir fry place called HuHot Mongolian Grill that's pretty nearby as well. I don't know if they sell gift cards, but it's definitely somewhere your son might want to visit next year.
Oh, and I almost forgot: MOD Pizza is pretty hard to beat. Period. It's affordable, too. Definitely a good choice for any cadet who likes pizza (i.e. any cadet
).
I don't get off base much myself, so hopefully another cadet on here will be able to suggest some more restaurants that I missed. Congrats to you and your DS!
